Sport at Winscombe

Welcome to the Winscombe Primary Sport Page! We are passionate about sport at our school and love how many benefits there are to our physical health and our mental health.

NSSPEA

We are part of the North Somerset Schools PE Association (NSSPEA). This gives us access to a wide variety of competitions and fixtures within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We also aim to give as many children as possible the opportunity to represent the school during their time at Winscombe Primary School. We are always very proud of their achievements and enthusiasm for participation.

Swimming Achievements

Well done to year 4 who have worked so hard at swimming. Here are some photos showcasing their hard work and their certificates they have been awarded. There are a variety of certificates ranging from water safety, 5m, 10m, 25m, 50m, 100m and 200m.

Sporting Achievements Outside of School

We love to celebrate all sporting achievements outside of school. These are celebrated on a weekly basis during our celebration assembly on a Friday morning.
