Our WOW Day. We have been learning about what is means to be a Hindu by learning about Hindu stories, Hindu Gods, Hindu Prayers and things that are special to Hindus.
Happy world book day! This year we focused on non-fiction texts to support the development of our school allotment. We looked at instructional writing on how to create a scarecrow. We then made scarecrows for the ‘Peter Rabbit Garden’.

Our visit to the Ashford Education Centre at Cannington. We learnt about the features of a river and visited the water treatment centre to see how they clean our water. In the afternoon, we enjoyed some fun science.
We have been designing and making Egyptian Shadufs which were used to take water from the River Nile.

What a fantastic day we had with Ali Ball who is an Egyptologist. We learnt so much about Ancient Egypt.
We mastered the Ancient Egyptian number system and played bingo.
We wrote our names in hieroglyphs.
We even performed a mummification...
Finally, we created our own scarab beetles from clay.
