Ina-Maria lives in Winscombe and joined the board of governors in March 2019.
Whilst she originally graduated with a teaching degree, her career focused on the IT industry where she spent 35 years working for various IT service companies. Her area of expertise is IT service management and her role involved helping organisations articulate and implement service strategies, policies, processes and governance models for their IT and/or business process services.
For a number of years Ina-Maria also volunteered her time as a member of her company’s Sustainability Committee, working on ways to improve the environmental, social and economic performance of the organisation.
Ina-Maria is married with two children. She became particularly interested in the needs of dyslexic children and funded her own training in the Phono-Graphix reading method. For a number of years she ran the Sandford ‘Chocolate Club’ – a voluntary club to support children with reading difficulties.
