Visit from ‘Garden Organic's Master Composters’
On Thursday March 9th we were lucky enough to have a visit from the ‘Garden Organic's Master Composters’ who are volunteers who spend time promoting home composting in their local community. They led a whole school assembly followed by four workshops for Year 6 and our ECO Warriors.
Plants were planted, a wormery was explored, compost creatures were drawn and items for composting were sorted. It was both an engaging and informative afternoon which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Thanks must go out to all those involved in providing such a unique and exciting afternoon: Mater Composters - Johnny, Fin, Pauline and ECO Committee Members - Mrs Hardwick and Mrs Hancock (who is also our ECO Governor).
