Colour Run September 18th 2021

The PTFA are delighted to announce the return of our

‘Colour Run’

The Colour Run is a fun run in which the children are doused in coloured powder at regular intervals during two laps of the school field – the aim is to get covered in as many colours as possible!

Come and join us on Saturday 18th September 2021 from 2pm to 5pm

  • 3pm – KS1 (EYFS Year 1 & 2) and Pre-school
  • 3.45pm – KS2 and older

Entry: £7 per person all ages – if you would like to run with your child you must enter as well, this ensures the costs of the powder are covered.

What to wear: Children taking part must wear old clothes to run in as, depending on the fabric and original colour, they could be stained permanently. The powder is a non-toxic, corn starch based powder, manufactured especially for use in colour runs.  The colour will dust off clothes and hair, and the remainder can be washed out with soap and water. The colour powder will be thrown by staff and adults from PTFA.

  • Children can wear their own plain white or pale coloured t-shirt.

  • All runners must wear goggles or sunglasses for eye protection.  Children who do not have suitable eyewear will not be able to run.

  • Make it fun! The PTFA will be selling accessories such as neon sunglasses, tutu’s, sweatbands etc. during the week before the colour run and on the day (subject to stock)

How to enter: If you would like your child to take part, please submit the entry form with cash payment by Friday 16th July 2021.  No late entries will be accepted as we need to order supplies over the summer.

On the day: You must register on the day to receive a wristband to entitle your child to run.

No wristband = No run.  At the finish each runner will receive a personal packet of colour powder to throw at the finish line powder party!

Yours faithfully,
