Please remember to have your PE kit in school on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Class Information
Our topic for the spring term is 'Healthy and Growing'. For the first part of the term, we will be finding out about healthy living and visitors from Warburtons  will be working with us to make healthy sandwiches.  After half term, we will read the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and try to grow our own bean plants.

Ideas for Home Learning:

Keep a food diary and activity diary.
Look at different food packets to identify what is in them.
Make healthy recipes.

Try different fruits and vegetables.

Name and grow different plants at home.
Create a seed picture.
Press some flowers to make a picture.

'Last Chance to Paint' Project

Blue Class have been following the artist, John Dyer, on his journey across Borneo painting orangutans.

Using his advice, we painted our own orangutans and rainforest leaves. We displayed our work in the classroom and Miss Humphrey sent a picture to John Dyer. John Dyer has displayed our work on his website and in his email he said 'Love it! Such a fun piece of art.'

Click here to see our work.

John Dyer sent us prints of his paintings to display in our classroom.

Update - February 2020

Blue Class have won the group section of the 'Last Chance to Paint' competition. We have won a print signed by John Dyer and a clock with our artwork displayed on it.

Blue Class saved trees by creating a Christmas message wall instead of sending individual Christmas cards. The money we would have spent on Christmas cards we donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
