Andrew moved to Weston-super-Mare as a child and attended Priory School and Broadoak Sixth Form before joining the Co-Operative as part of their Management Programme. After completing a successful programme with the Co-op, Andrew worked in financial services before moving to the recruitment industry which saw him move to Swindon, Bristol and then he took the bold step of New Zealand. It was a life changing experience for him in many ways, experiencing a country and cultures that changed my outlook on life and most importantly, meeting his wife in New Zealand, who happened to be from Somerset!
In 2007 they returned back to the UK and chose Winscombe to set up their family home, and now have a 2-year old daughter who is keeping him on my toes.
Professionally, for the last 8 years, Andrew has worked for Imperial Brands and has gained experience in a number of functions including Business Transformation and Human Resources. He is also a certified mental health first aider.
Outside of work, Andrew is a keen golfer and plays when he can find the time. In recent years, he has reignited my passion for music , learning the Ukulele and restarted playing the piano after years away from it!
Andrew has no business interest to declare.
